Cambridge Police Investigate Attempted Vehicle Theft on Robinson Ave

Dorchester County, MD - Cambridge Police Department officers responded to a report of an attempted vehicle theft on the 400 block of Robinson Avenue in Cambridge, Maryland.

The incident occurred on January 4, 2026, at approximately 8:46 a.m. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim regarding their gray 2010 Kia Soul.

The victim stated the vehicle was last seen undamaged on the evening of January 3, 2026, around 8:00 p.m. It was discovered the following morning with damage to the steering column, prompting the call to law enforcement.
