Cambridge Police Investigate Theft and Recovery of Vehicle

Cambridge, MD - Cambridge Police Department (CPD) officers responded to a reported vehicle theft on February 10, 2026. The incident occurred in the 1300 block of Rainbow Avenue at approximately 2:42 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers contacted the victim who reported a stolen silver 2020 Kia Sportage with Maryland registration. The theft is believed to have occurred between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. that day. No suspects were identified at the time.

Officers later responded to the 300 block of West End Avenue on February 13, 2026. This response followed License Plate Reader alerts regarding the stolen vehicle at approximately 12:33 p.m.

Police located and recovered the Kia Sportage at the scene. No suspects have been identified in connection with the recovery.
