Cambridge Police Investigating Stolen Vehicle on Cambridge Beltway

Cambridge, MD - Officers from the Cambridge Police Department responded to a call regarding a stolen vehicle on January 5, 2026. The incident occurred in the 1400 block of Cambridge Beltway, where officers arrived at approximately 4 p.m. to speak with the victim.

The victim reported that their silver 2016 Kia Soul was missing. The vehicle displayed a temporary registration.

According to the report, the car was last observed on January 3 at roughly 8 p.m. The owner discovered it was missing the following night, January 4, at approximately 10 p.m.

Investigators noted that the vehicle likely sustained damage to its steering column. Parts belonging to the vehicle were located in the parking spot where it was last parked.

There is currently no suspect information available. This is an ongoing investigation, and the Cambridge Police Department is asking the community for assistance.
