CAMBRIDGE, MD - On February 20, 2024, Tony Chauvon Harris SR was served with a Criminal Summons by the Cambridge Police Department, charging him with Assault in the 2^nd Degree. 

The charges originated from a physical altercation that took place on February 9, 2024, in the 500 block of High St in Cambridge, MD. 

At around 8:38 pm, officers were dispatched to the scene following a reported physical dispute.  Upon arrival, officers made contact with a victim who reported being assaulted by Harris. 

Visible signs of injury were observed on the victim, aligning with the allegations made against Harris.

Harris was absent from the location at the time of the officers' arrival. 

Subsequently, the Cambridge Police Officers applied for charges against Harris with the Court Commissioner, which resulted in the issuance of a Criminal Summons.
