Cambridge Woman Arrested on Multiple Warrants

Cambridge, MD - Officers from the Cambridge Police Department arrested 21-year-old Lamiyah Nicole Hynson on Monday, February 2, 2026. The arrest occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. regarding multiple active warrants.

Hynson, a resident of Cambridge, Maryland, was taken into custody and later released on a $1,000.00 unsecured bond.

The first warrant was a Bench Warrant issued by the Kent County District Court. This was filed after a failure to appear in court on December 10, 2025, regarding an original charge of driving on a suspended license. The second warrant was an Arrest Warrant issued by the Dorchester County District Court for second-degree assault.

The assault charges stem from a prior incident reported on October 25, 2025, in the 800 block of Washington Street. The victim reported that Hynson arrived at the victim's residence, pushed them down, and punched them.

Following the altercation, the victim applied for charges with the Court Commissioner.
