CHARLES HUNTINGTON ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE DRUG OFFENSES

Salisbury, MD - The Wicomico County Sheriff's Office Community Action Team (CAT) conducted an investigation into Charles Lee Huntington distributing controlled dangerous substances from his residence located in the 6100 block of Jack Drive in Salisbury, MD. CAT has received tips about drug activity at the residence. CAT was able to obtain a search and seizure warrant for the residence.On June 27, 2023, surveillance was established on Huntington's residence and stop-and-go traffic consistent with drug activity was observed. Approximately 8 subjects were observed stopping at the residence and leaving a short time later. Several of those vehicles were stopped by members of CAT, and CDS was recovered.After observing the activity, a search and seizure warrant was executed on the residence. Huntington was located inside the residence. A search revealed an amount of cocaine indicative of cocaine distribution, multiple digital scales, and packaging material.Huntington was arrested and interviewed, and he admitted to distributing cocaine. Huntington was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of cocaine, possession of narcotic production equipment, maintaining a common nuisance to administer CDS and maintaining a common nuisance to distribute CDS.Huntington was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center, where he is currently held without bond.
