Chester Resident Arrested on Sexual Assault Charges

Queen Anne's County, MD - On March 2, 2026, deputies from the Queen Anne's County Office of the Sheriff responded to a report of a sexual assault. A juvenile contacted law enforcement personnel at the Chester substation to report the incident.

Following an initial inquiry, authorities determined that sufficient evidence existed to proceed with criminal charges. The suspect was identified as 62-year-old Theodore Raschka Jr., a resident of Chester, Maryland.

An arrest warrant was subsequently issued by authorities. Raschka was taken into custody and formally charged with a third-degree sexual offense against a helpless or impaired individual, a fourth-degree sexual offense involving sexual contact, second-degree assault, and contributing to the delinquency of a child.
