CITY OF SALISBURY ANNOUNCES ROAD CLOSURE AHEAD OF NEW SEWER MANHOLE INSTALLATION

Salisbury, Maryland-To improve the city's infrastructure, officials have announced a temporary road closure on Benny Street. The closure will affect the section between Naylor Street and Marshall Street as work begins to install a new sewer manhole.

The project is scheduled to start at 8 a.m. on Monday, May 19, and, weather permitting, is expected to be completed by the end of the day on Tuesday, May 20.

During this time, Benny Street will be closed to through traffic, but local traffic will still have access to both Naylor Street and Marshall Street.

Motorists planning to travel in this area are advised to consider alternate routes and to drive with caution nearby.
