City of Salisbury Announces Road Closures and Traffic Routes for Salisbury Jaycees’ 79th Annual Christmas Parade

Salisbury, MD - The Salisbury Jaycees will host the 79th Annual Salisbury Christmas Parade, presented by Mountaire Farms, on Sunday, December 7. The event, held in partnership with the City of Salisbury, is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. and conclude at 3 p.m.

The parade will follow its traditional route, commencing at the corner of Civic Avenue and Mt. Hermon Road. From there, it will proceed along East Main Street and end at City Park.

To facilitate the event and ensure public safety, several road closures will be in effect. The closures include Civic Avenue from Glen Avenue to Mt. Hermon Road, and Mt. Hermon Road from Civic Avenue to East Main Street. East Main Street will also be closed from Long Avenue to Snow Hill Road.

Additional closures are East William Street from Naylor Street to Long Avenue, East Main Street from Route 50 to Long Avenue, Long Avenue from Route 50 to Mt. Hermon Road, Glen Avenue from Davis Street to East Main, and Davis Street from East William to Glen Avenue.
