CITY OF SALISBURY ANNOUNCES ROAD CLOSURES FOR 3RD FRIDAY FESTIVITIES

SALISBURY, Maryland - The city of Salisbury has announced temporary road closures this Friday, April 18, to accommodate the much-anticipated return of 3rd Friday, featuring a variety of eco-friendly activities and events.


The closures will begin at 2 p.m. on Friday, affecting several key areas in Downtown Salisbury. Main Street will be closed from W. Market Street to Division Street, and Division Street will be closed from Rt. 50 to Circle Avenue.


Residents and visitors are reminded that free parking is available in Downtown Salisbury, including complimentary two-hour on-street parking during evenings and weekends. It is advised to plan ahead and avoid the closed streets.


From 5 to 8 p.m., the main hub of the celebration will be Unity Square and the Plaza, where attendees can enjoy a lively atmosphere featuring live music, local vendors, and engaging eco-centric activities that celebrate community spirit.


Performances by Brittany & Tyler will take place on the Plaza, while AMP Studio will provide a live set at Unity Square. Additionally, visitors can explore the Think Green zone and view the student-designed TRASH-ion Show, which showcases creativity in sustainability through fashion.
