CITY OF SALISBURY ANNOUNCES TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF NORTH PARK DRIVE FOR TREE MAINTENANCE

Salisbury, MD - A section of North Park Drive Extension will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., as announced by the City of Salisbury. This closure is necessary to conduct tree maintenance along the roadway.

The maintenance work aims to address potential safety concerns. Tree limbs and other hazards that pose risks to motorists, pedestrians, and park visitors will be managed to prevent accidents.

According to city officials, regular tree maintenance is essential for ensuring the safe use of public roads and nearby park areas.

During the closure, traffic will be redirected around the work zone. Drivers are advised to use alternate routes and follow posted detour signs. Access to park areas near the maintenance zone will remain open and can be reached via alternate entrances.
