City of Salisbury Announces Woodcock Park Playground Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony

Wicomico County, MD - The City of Salisbury has completed upgrades at the Woodcock Park playground. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, March 19, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. The event will take place at the park, located at 803 Riverside Road.

The improvement project was managed by the City's Department of Field Operations. The previous playground equipment was removed from the site. New equipment was installed to provide a safe recreation area for local children and families.

These updates reflect the city's ongoing efforts to maintain public spaces and support recreational access across Salisbury neighborhoods.

"Woodcock Park has been a long-term asset of the Pinehurst/Camden neighborhood for years. It is now receiving a much-deserved makeover to be sure it is well-positioned to be enjoyed for many generations to come. Neighborhood parks are critical component of quality livability and these kinds of improvements are vitally important," said Mayor Randy Taylor.

City officials, staff, community partners, and residents are expected to attend the ceremony. Kona Ice will also be onsite during the event to provide refreshments for attendees.
