Salisbury, Maryland - The City of Salisbury government offices will be closed on Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of Independence Day, according to city officials. Administrative offices will not be operational during the holiday; however, certain city facilities will remain open to serve the community.

The Salisbury Zoo will welcome visitors as usual, providing an opportunity for residents and guests to explore and enjoy its wildlife exhibits on Independence Day.

Additionally, the City's Sound Bites Tour will feature a special patriotic event at City Park. The Salisbury Community Band is scheduled to perform a free concert at the City Bandstand, which will include classic American marches and other patriotic music.

This concert aims to foster community spirit and pride through a shared cultural experience.

Trash and recycling services that are usually scheduled for Friday will instead take place on Saturday, July 5. City officials remind residents to ensure their containers are placed at the curb by 6:00 a.m. for timely collection.
