City of Salisbury to Host Light Up The Holidays Event on November 21

Salisbury, MD - The City of Salisbury will host its Light Up The Holidays themed 3rd Friday event on November 21, 2025. The community celebration will take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Downtown Salisbury and will mark the beginning of the holiday season.

Unity Square will serve as the main venue for the evening's activities. Live music performances by Such Fools are scheduled from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Families can participate in Photos with Santa and attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony with Snow at 6:30 p.m.

East Main Street will feature family activities including a Craft Booth hosted by The Night Watch Child Care and a Santa Paws Photo Booth presented by K9 Heeling. The pet photo opportunity is designed for animals and their owners.

The Government Office Building Stage will host performances by local groups throughout the evening. The Salisbury School Choir will perform from 5:15 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., followed by AMP Winter Ensemble from 6:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. JDY Dance will take the stage from 6:45 p.m. to 7:15 p.m., and the Salisbury University Chamber Choir will close out the performances from 7:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

North Division Street will offer complimentary hot chocolate provided by Canvas Church and cookie decorating activities for attendees. West Main Street Plaza will feature live music by Shredded Cheddar from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and a Holiday Marketplace showcasing local vendors and artisans.

Several roads will be closed to accommodate the event. The closures include E. Market St./W. Main St., N. Division St./Rt. 13, E. Main St./N. Division St., Division St./Circle Ave., and Church St./Rt. 13.
