City of Salisbury to Replace Water Valve on Roger Street

Salisbury, MD - The City of Salisbury's Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will conduct water valve replacement work on Roger Street this Thursday, October 16th.

The project involves replacing a 2-inch valve located in the 700 block of Roger Street. This work is part of the city's ongoing efforts to improve, repair, and maintain the municipal water distribution system.

Road Closure Information

Roger Street will be closed to all through traffic between Prince Street and Bethel Street during the construction period. The closure is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by approximately 3:30 p.m., weather and conditions permitting.

Notification Process

All relevant locators and Central Alarm have been notified of the planned maintenance work. The city has coordinated with necessary parties to minimize disruption to service.
