City Reschedules Water Service Replacement on Riverside Drive

SALISBURY, MD - The City of Salisbury has rescheduled a water service replacement project on Riverside Drive due to weather concerns. The work, originally planned for September 16, will now take place on Tuesday, September 23.

The Department of Waterworks Utilities Division will replace a water service line in the 1100 block of Riverside Drive as part of the city's ongoing infrastructure maintenance program. The project aims to improve and maintain the water distribution system throughout Salisbury.

Riverside Drive will be closed to all through traffic from Woodland Road to Douglas Road during the construction period. The closure will begin at 9:00 a.m. and is expected to conclude around 3:30 p.m., unless unforeseen circumstances arise.

City officials have notified all locators and Central Alarm of the schedule change. Residents are asked to plan alternate routes during the closure hours.
