Cordova Woman Arrested Following K-9 Sniff by Talbot County Sheriff’s Office

Talbot County, MD - On November 7, 2025, a woman was arrested following a traffic stop on Ocean Gateway near Airport Road.

Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office identified the driver as Karen Lynn King, 57, of Cordova, MD.

During the stop, deputies developed probable cause to search the vehicle, which was conducted with assistance from a TCSO K-9 Unit.

The search resulted in the recovery of a controlled substance and related paraphernalia. King was taken into custody and transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing.

Following an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, King was released on a $500 unsecured bond.
