Cpl. Johnson Promoted by Talbot Co. Sheriff's Office

TALBOT COUNTY, MD - On August 30, 2025, the Talbot County Sheriff's Office announced the promotion of Cpl. Donald Johnson.

Cpl. Johnson started his career with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office in December 2018 as a patrol deputy.

He was later promoted to Deputy First Class and assigned as a K-9 handler, working with the only patrol dog in the unit.

Cpl. Johnson has been certified as a Master K9 Instructor through the State of Maryland. Sheriff Joe Gamble stated that Cpl. Johnson continues to demonstrate his supervisory abilities.
