Delaware Man Arrested for Reckless Endangering and Gun Offenses in Selbyville

SELBYVILLE, DE - Delaware State Police have arrested a 44-year-old Selbyville man on multiple charges following a reckless endangering incident Saturday night.
Justin Glowacki was taken into custody after allegedly firing a rifle while intoxicated outside his residence. The incident occurred in the 12000 block of Knolls Lane in Selbyville.
On August 30, 2025, at approximately 9:00 p.m., troopers responded to reports of reckless endangering on Knolls Lane. Upon arrival, officers learned that Glowacki had been shooting a firearm while screaming and cursing outside his home.
The preliminary investigation revealed that Glowacki fired the rimfire rifle at his own feet. He also directed shots toward a nearby residence occupied by two adults.
Troopers located Glowacki at his residence on the 34000 block of Brinker Mansion Road. Officers determined he was highly intoxicated at the time of his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident.
Glowacki was transported to Troop 4 and charged with multiple offenses. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $24,000 cash bond.
The charges include:
- Reckless Endangering First Degree (Felony) - 2 counts
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Possession of a Firearm While Under the Influence
- Failure to Comply with Taking of Photos and Fingerprints
The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives are seeking additional information from the public.
