Delaware Man Arrested on Felony Drug and Weapons Charges Following Dagsboro Search

Sussex County, DE - The Delaware State Police arrested 48-year-old Dominick Drummond of Dagsboro on felony drug and weapons charges. The arrest occurred following the execution of a search warrant at a Dagsboro property.

On March 2, 2026, multiple law enforcement units executed the warrant on the 27000 block of Dagsboro Road. These units included the Sussex County Drug Unit, the Sussex County Governor's Task Force, and the Delaware State Police Special Operations Response Team. The search was the result of an ongoing investigation into Drummond for the distribution of illegal narcotics.

During the operation, Drummond was observed discarding suspected narcotics into a fire pit on the property. He and three other individuals were detained without incident. Two of the three other individuals were later charged with misdemeanor offenses and released on their own recognizance.

A subsequent search of the property resulted in the seizure of illegal drugs and weapons. Investigators discovered approximately 122.02 grams of cocaine and 38.6 grams of crack cocaine. They also located a stolen 9mm handgun, multiple rounds of 12-gauge ammunition, drug paraphernalia, and $16,030 in suspected drug proceeds.

Following the search, Drummond was taken to Troop 4. He faces multiple felony charges, including two counts of Manufacture, Deliver, Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance (Tier 3), and two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance (Tier 3).

Drummond was also charged with Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Possession of a Firearm/Destructive Weapon by a Person Previously Convicted of Two Violent Felonies, and Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition by a Person Prohibited.

Additional charges include Receiving a Stolen Firearm, Unlawful to Knowingly Operate a Clandestine Laboratory, Tampering with Physical Evidence, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Drummond was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2. He was subsequently committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $131,000 cash bond.
