DELAWARE STATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN MILLSBORO

Millsboro, DE - On May 25, 2025, at approximately 2:30 AM, tragedy struck in Millsboro, Delaware, when a fatal motorcycle crash claimed the life of a local resident. The Delaware State Police are currently investigating the events that led to this unfortunate incident.

Initial investigation revealed that a 2006 Toyota Sienna was traveling southbound on Millsboro Highway, while a 2010 Victory motorcycle was heading northbound on the same road.

For reasons still under investigation, the Toyota veered out of its lane while navigating a curve and crossed into the motorcycle's northbound lane. This collision caused the motorcyclist to be ejected from his bike.

The motorcyclist, a 58-year-old resident of Millsboro, Delaware, was pronounced dead at the scene. Out of respect for the grieving family, his name has not yet been released.

The driver of the Toyota, a 48-year-old man from Salisbury, Maryland, was not physically injured in the accident. Among the passengers in the Toyota, two individuals required hospital treatment for non-life-threatening injuries, while a third passenger walked away uninjured.

Millsboro Highway was closed for approximately 3.5 hours as investigators carefully examined the scene. This investigation is being led by the Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit.
