DELAWARE STATE POLICE ARE INVESTIGATING A FATAL MOTORCYCLE CRASH IN MILLVILLE

Sussex County, MD - Delaware State Police are actively investigating a tragic motorcycle accident that occurred in Millville on May 3, 2025. The incident involved a Suzuki GSX-R600 motorcycle traveling along Central Avenue.

Unfortunately, the motorcycle left the road during a curve and struck a mailbox, which resulted in the driver being ejected.

The motorcyclist, a 35-year-old resident of Ocean View, Delaware, sustained severe injuries and was quickly transported to a local hospital. Despite the medical attention he received, he tragically succumbed to his injuries on May 12, 2025. The victim's identity is being withheld to respect the family's privacy.

The Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit is conducting a thorough examination of the case. Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance. Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is encouraged to contact Master Corporal R. Albert at (302) 703-3266.
