Delaware State Police Arrest Frankford Man Following Probation & Parole Search
Sussex County, DE - A 20-year-old man from Frankford, Delaware, has been arrested on multiple felony drug and gun charges following a search by Probation and Parole officers on Tuesday.
The Delaware State Police arrested Malachi Mahon on November 11, 2025, after the Sussex County Governor's Task Force was called to assist Probation & Parole. The request was made at approximately 8:30 p.m. after probation officers conducted an administrative search at Mahon's residence on Frankford Avenue.
During the search, officers discovered drugs, drug paraphernalia, and a handgun inside the home. A child was also present at the residence at the time of the search. Mahon was taken into custody without incident.
A more detailed search of the property and of Mahon led to the seizure of approximately 6.44 grams of crack cocaine, approximately 50.43 grams of marijuana, and a Glock 9mm handgun.
Mahon was transported to Troop 4 and charged with several offenses, including Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance. Other charges include Endangering the Welfare of a Child and Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited.
Following his arraignment by the Justice of the Peace Court 11, Mahon was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on a $36,601 cash bond.
