Delaware State Police Arrest Two Suspects for Harrington Farm Burglaries
State of DE - The Delaware State Police have arrested 41-year-old Ronald Keiser and 42-year-old Heather Crane, both of Hartly, Delaware. The arrests follow multiple burglary incidents at a farm located in Harrington, Delaware.
On November 17, 2025, troopers responded to a reported burglary on the 3000 block of Woodyard Road. A preliminary investigation determined that unknown suspects unlawfully entered a barn and a chicken house on the property.
Copper wiring was cut, and additional equipment was stolen. This incident caused approximately $80,000 in property damage before the suspects fled the area.
On March 14, 2026, troopers returned to the same location for a second reported burglary. Investigators determined that a barn was entered again. Various items, including an all-terrain vehicle (ATV), were stolen.
A few days later, the stolen ATV was discovered by the victim listed for sale on a social media website.
The Delaware State Police Troop 3 Criminal Investigations Unit assumed the investigation. Detectives identified Keiser and Crane as the individuals selling the ATV. A search warrant was obtained and executed at their residence in Hartly on March 20, 2026.
Both suspects were taken into custody without incident. Multiple items belonging to the victim were recovered during the search. Further investigation also linked Crane to the initial November burglary.
Crane was transported to Troop 3 and charged with multiple offenses. Her charges include two felony counts of Third-Degree Burglary, felony Theft of $1,500 or Greater, and felony Theft Under $1,500 Where a Victim is 62 Years of Age or Older.
She was also charged with felony Criminal Mischief of $5,000 or more and felony Second-Degree Conspiracy. She was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on her own recognizance.
Keiser was also taken to Troop 3 and charged. His charges include felony Receiving or Transferring a Stolen Vehicle, felony Third-Degree Burglary, and felony Theft of $1,500 or Greater.
Additionally, he faces charges for felony Second-Degree Conspiracy and Criminal Mischief Under $1,000. He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2 and released on his own recognizance.
