Delaware State Police Investigating Lincoln Shooting

Lincoln, DE - Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in Lincoln on October 28, 2025. Troopers responded to the 21000 block of Hackney Circle at approximately 4:30 p.m. after receiving a report that a residence had been struck by gunfire.

The preliminary investigation revealed that the unoccupied residence was hit by gunfire sometime during the day while the homeowner was away. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

The Delaware State Police Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate. Detectives are asking anyone with relevant information to contact Detective C. Simpson by calling (302) 752-3855.
