Deputies Investigate Shooting Incident in Goldsboro Field

Caroline County, MD - Deputies from the Caroline County Sheriff's Office responded to a traffic complaint in Goldsboro, Maryland, on November 1, 2025. The incident occurred at approximately 12:46 a.m. in the area of Day Road and East Cherry Lane.

While deputies were en route to the scene, dispatch informed them that multiple trucks were performing burnouts and mudding in a field. The vehicles caused damage to the property.

Before deputies arrived, the reporting party also heard gunshots. This information was confirmed through interviews conducted at the scene.

The investigation revealed that a projectile (bullet) struck a nearby residence on River Road. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident.
