NATIONAL NEWS - FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino has announced his upcoming resignation from the agency. Bongino, a former United States Secret Service Agent, confirmed today that he will vacate his position in January 2026.
No specific reason was provided regarding the decision to depart. In a statement addressing the resignation, the Deputy Director expressed gratitude to agency leadership and the public.
"I will be leaving my position with the FBI in January. I want to thank President Trump, AG Bondi, and Director Patel for the opportunity to serve with purpose.
