Salisbury, MD - The Wicomico County Sheriff's Community Action Team (CAT) recently conducted a drug investigation into a individual, identified as Devonte Jamar Baine, distributing controlled dangerous substances from 2 residences in Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland. 

On October 12, 2023, the Salisbury City Police TAC Team assisted CAT with serving search and seizure warrants at a residence in 1000 block of Tuscola Avenue Salisbury, MD and a residence in the 100 block of Second Street Salisbury, MD. 

Baine was located in front of the residence located at 1000 block of Tuscola Avenue Salisbury, MD. 

Baine was found to be in possession of cocaine. A search of the two residences revealed 1.21 grams of crack cocaine, 28.40 grams of compressed powder cocaine, 1.52 grams of heroin, 19 oxycodone pills, 4 digital scales, and ammunition.  Baine is prohibited from possession ammunition due to previous convictions. 

Baine was charged with possession with intent to distribute heroin, cocaine, oxycodone and related charges. Baine was transported to the Wicomico County Detention Center where he was later released pending trial.
