Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Information on Two Sex Offenders Wanted for Failing to Re-Register

Dorchester County, MD - The Dorchester County Sheriff's Office, Sex Offender Registration Unit, is currently searching for two individuals wanted on active warrants issued by the Dorchester County District Court. Both individuals are required by law to re-register as sex offenders but have failed to comply.

Authorities are asking for the public's assistance in locating the individuals. Anyone with information about their whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Sheriff's Office, Sex Offender Registration Unit at (410) 228-4141 (Ext. # 2112).

Law enforcement agencies are reminded to confirm all warrants through the National Crime Information Center (NCIC) before taking any enforcement actions.

The individuals being sought are:

• Tayvar Maurice Dobson, a Tier III Sex Offender.  
• Brian Anthony Cephas, a Tier II Sex Offender.
