Downtown Salisbury Hosting Valentine’s Day Celebration

Salisbury, MD - Downtown Salisbury will host a Valentine's Day celebration on Saturday, Feb. 14. The event is scheduled from noon to 3 p.m. and will feature free horse and carriage rides, live music, and a dessert crawl through the downtown area.

R&B Ranch Carriage Service will provide horse-and-carriage rides starting in front of First Shore Federal. Those wishing to participate must be in line by 2:45 p.m. It is noted that arrival by this time does not guarantee a ride.

The event includes a dessert crawl with stops at several local businesses. Participating locations include Cake Art, Two Scoops Ice Cream and Waffles, Mogan's Oyster House, Roadie Joe's, Bury Tavern, Mojo's, and Brick Row Market. Attendees can vote for their favorite stop through the "Let's Rallie" platform.

Voting provides a chance to win a Downtown Salisbury "Sweetheart" prize pack, which is sponsored by the Downtown Business Alliance.

"Valentine's Day is the perfect time to enjoy everything downtown has to offer," said Mayor Randolph J. Taylor. "We hope residents and visitors take this opportunity to explore, shop, and support our local businesses while having fun with family and friends."
