Downtown Salisbury Prepares to Welcome Students for Move-In at The Ross

Salisbury, Maryland - Downtown Salisbury is set to welcome Salisbury University students as they move into The Ross on Friday, August 22, 2025. The Salisbury Parking Authority will assist with traffic management throughout the move-in day.
To ensure a smooth process, Camden Street Alley will temporarily close to traffic. The details of the temporary closure are as follows:
- Closure area: Camden Street from the Baptist Street entrance to the rear exit of the Circle Avenue Garage
- Closure begins: Thursday, August 21, at approximately 2:00 PM
- Reopens: Monday, August 25, at 9:00 AM
- Alternate routes: East Main Street and Circle Avenue will remain open for access to South Division Street and the surrounding areas.
Residents, visitors, and commuters are advised to plan ahead, remain cautious, and use alternate routes during this closure.
While in downtown Salisbury, visitors are encouraged to explore the district's unique offerings. Additionally, On The Edge will perform live at Brew River on Friday, August 22, from 6 PM to 9 PM. This upbeat waterfront concert is part of The Sound Bites Tour, which raises funds for the upcoming Maryland Folk Festival, scheduled for September 19-21.
