Ocean City, MD - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is scheduled to commence dredging operations in Ocean City, Maryland, around November 20, 2025.

The operation will focus on the Ocean City Inlet to clear the entrance to the West Ocean City Harbor. This initial phase of work is anticipated to conclude shortly before Thanksgiving.

If the schedule permits, the dredge Murden may also address the intersection with the Sinepuxent Channel to improve access to the harbor's entrance channel. The dredging is essential for maintaining safe passage for larger vessels.

Mariners are advised to be cautious of their wake when traveling near the worksite. They can contact the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers dredge on marine band radio VHF-FM channel 13 for more information.
