Easton Man Arrested for Assault at Washington Street Pub

Talbot County, MD - On March 21, 2026, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office observed an altercation involving multiple individuals on N. Washington Street.

During the incident, a deputy observed 22-year-old Yosber Galvez Mazariegos of Easton, Maryland, assaulting an employee of the Washington Street Pub.

Deputies and Easton Police Officers attempted to apprehend Mazariegos. He resisted the arrest, which prompted several other individuals to interfere with the police action.

Ultimately, Mazariegos was taken into custody. He was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. Mazariegos was charged with assault and resisting arrest.

He was processed and held pending an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.
