Easton Man Arrested for Failing To Appear on Theft Charges

Talbot County, MD - On November 8, 2025, deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested Lucas John Merriken, 29, of Easton, MD.

An arrest warrant was issued by the Talbot County District Court in July 2025, charging Merriken with theft and theft scheme.

Following the arrest, Merriken was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner.

He was held pending further court action.
