Easton Man Arrested for Probation Violation

TALBOT COUNTY, MD - Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested an Easton man on November 26, 2025.

Sterling Logan Jones, 23, was taken into custody following an active arrest warrant. The Circuit Court for Talbot County had previously issued the warrant on November 13, 2025.

Jones faces a charge of violation of probation stemming from an original charge of first-degree assault.

Following the arrest, deputies transported him to the Talbot County Central Booking facility. He underwent processing and was ordered held pending a future hearing before a Circuit Court Judge.
