Easton Man Arrested for Vehicle Break-In on S. Aurora Street

EASTON, MD - The Easton Police Department has arrested a 19-year-old local man in connection with a vehicle break-in that occurred in the early morning hours of August 22, 2025.
Francis Sanchez of Easton, MDwas charged with Rogue and Vagabond, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Theft: Less than $1000. Following his arrest, Sanchez was transferred to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.
Officers responded to the 100 block of S. Aurora Street at approximately 5:50 am after receiving a report of a vehicle break-in. The victim reported that someone had broken into her vehicle and stolen several items during the incident.
The investigation revealed that surveillance video captured the suspect breaking into the vehicle. Police were able to identify Sanchez through the footage and subsequent investigative work.
The arrest was made based on the evidence gathered during the investigation.
