Easton Man Arrested for Violating Protective Order
Easton, MD - The Easton Police Department arrested a 19-year-old man on November 3, 2025, for violating a protective order. Officers responded to the 300 block of Bay Street in Easton, Maryland, to serve a warrant on Hansi J. Ruiz-Tovar.
Ruiz-Tovar faces two counts of violating a protective order. The charges stem from an incident that occurred on November 2, 2025. According to the charging document, Ruiz-Tovar entered the victim's workplace and made contact with the victim. This contact violated the terms of an existing protective order.
Following his arrest, Ruiz-Tovar was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center. He remains in custody pending further legal proceedings.
