Easton Man Arrested on Domestic Assault Charges

EASTON, MD - The Easton Police Department arrested a 22-year-old local man on domestic assault charges following an incident at Talbot Village in Easton, Maryland on August 29, 2025.

Giovanny E. Perez of Easton, MD, was charged with Assault in the First and Second Degree and Reckless Endangerment. He was subsequently transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.

Easton Police Officers responded to Talbot Village after receiving a report of a domestic assault in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a female victim who provided details of the incident.

The victim reported that she was involved in an argument with Perez when he allegedly grabbed her by the neck and choked her. She was able to contact police following the assault.

The investigation led to Perez's arrest. He was processed and later released to the custody of the detention facility.
