Easton Man Arrested on Outstanding Bench Warrant During Traffic Stop

Easton, MD - Easton Police arrested a local man on an outstanding warrant following a routine traffic stop on August 18, 2025.
Savieon I. Meyers, 21, of Easton, Maryland, was taken into custody after officers discovered he had a Talbot County bench warrant for Failure to Appear.
The arrest occurred during a traffic stop in the area of S. Washington Street and Papermill Street. Meyers was operating the vehicle at the time of the stop.
Officers conducted a standard license and warrants check during the traffic stop. The check revealed the outstanding bench warrant against Meyers.
Following his arrest, Meyers was transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.
