Easton Man Charged with Theft at Weis Markets
Easton, MD - Officers from the Easton Police Department were dispatched to Weis Markets on January 13, 2026. The call was in response to a reported theft at the 219 Marlboro Avenue location in Easton, Maryland.
Upon arrival, officers contacted Loss Prevention staff regarding the incident. A male subject was identified as 37-year-old William H. Fleetwood of Easton. It is alleged that Fleetwood took a 12-pack of Truly Unrivaled beverages to a self-checkout counter.
Staff reported that he placed the item on the counter but failed to provide payment before exiting the store with the merchandise.
Officers subsequently located Fleetwood in the surrounding area. He has been charged with Theft less than $100.00.
