Easton, MD - Officers responded to a reported theft at Target in Easton, Maryland, on March 21, 2026. When they arrived, they spoke with store loss prevention personnel and an adult male suspect who had been detained at the store.

The investigation found that the suspect, identified as Lawrence T. Abbondandolo, 44, of Easton, allegedly left the store without paying for merchandise. Police said the incident involved stolen items valued between $100 and $1,500.

Further investigation also linked Abbondandolo to several earlier theft incidents at the same Target location. Those incidents were reported on July 17, 2025, August 29, 2025, and March 4, 2026.

According to the investigation, the earlier cases involved the theft of retail items such as clothing and personal care products. Loss prevention staff documented the incidents through surveillance footage and internal reports.

Their records showed what investigators described as a repeated pattern of concealing merchandise and leaving without payment.

Abbondandolo was later released on a criminal citation.
