Easton Police Arrest Harbor Freight Employee for Theft

EASTON, MD - The Easton Police Department arrested a Harbor Freight employee on August 27, 2025, following an investigation into employee theft at the store located at 101 Marlboro Avenue in Easton, Maryland.


Officers responded to a call from Harbor Freight management regarding suspicious employee activity. Management informed police that Georgia L. Missimer, a 42-year-old employee from Preston, Maryland, had been voiding items from customer purchases and keeping the money for herself.


The investigation revealed that the theft occurred over a two-month period beginning in June 2025. Harbor Freight estimated their total loss at approximately $2,555.00 from the fraudulent transactions.


Police arrested Missimer at the scene and transported her to the Talbot County Detention Center. She was later released on her own recognizance pending further court proceedings.
