Easton Police Arrest Man Following Theft at Wawa

EASTON, MD - Officers from the Easton Police Department responded to a reported theft on December 4, 2025. The incident took place at the Wawa located at 8118 Ocean Gateway in Easton, Maryland.

Upon arrival, employees provided officers with a description of the suspect. They advised that the individual had taken two 2.5-gallon gas tanks and a fountain soda.

Police located a subject matching the description on the opposite side of Ocean Gateway, in front of the Mr. Go Glass business.

The individual was identified as 35-year-old Rickey T. Todd Jr. of Cambridge, Maryland.

At the time he was located, Todd was still in possession of the gas containers and the soda. He was charged with one count of Theft Less Than $100 and was subsequently transported to the Talbot County Detention Center.

Todd appeared before District Court Judge Karen R. Ketterman, where he was released on his own recognizance.
