Easton Police Arrest Valtoya Taylor for Organized Retail Theft

Easton, MD - On February 5, 2026, the Easton Police Department extradited Valtoya A. Taylor, a 42-year-old resident of Camden, Delaware. She was arrested on a warrant charging her with Organized Retail Theft and Theft Scheme ranging from $100 to under $1,500, along with related charges.

Following her extradition, Taylor was released to the custody of the Talbot County Detention Center.

The charges stem from incidents reported on October 16, 2025. On that date, officers responded to a theft report at ACME Markets.

They were informed that a male and a female suspect, later identified as Taylor, had filled shopping carts with merchandise and left the store without payment.

Shortly after, officers responded to a separate theft that had just occurred at Giant Foods.

A description of the suspect vehicle was provided to law enforcement. Officers located the vehicle and identified Taylor as one of the individuals involved in the thefts.
