Easton Police Department Investigates Series of Vehicle Break-Ins

Easton, MD - The Easton Police Department is currently investigating 45 vehicle break-ins that have occurred since March 1, 2026. These incidents have been reported across multiple neighborhoods within the town.

In many of these cases, valuables were removed from the unsecured vehicles. The investigations remain ongoing.

Residents are reminded by the Easton Police Department to secure their vehicles and activate any installed alarm systems. Keys should never be left inside vehicles, and valuables must be kept out of plain sight.

Furthermore, the community is asked to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behavior.

Homeowners with residential video surveillance systems are encouraged to verify that their equipment is functioning correctly.
