Easton Woman Arrested on Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop
Talbot County, MD - The Talbot County Sheriff's Office arrested an Easton woman on drug-related charges following a traffic stop on October 13, 2025.
Deputies conducted the traffic stop on St. Michael's Road near Marlboro Avenue after observing a moving violation. The driver was identified as Patti Jo West, 50, of Easton, Maryland.
During contact with West, deputies observed her discard a controlled substance from the driver's window. After exiting the vehicle, West dropped drug paraphernalia on the ground.
West was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia. She was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing and appeared before a District Court Commissioner.
Following her initial appearance, West was released on her own recognizance. This arrest marks the third set of similar charges for West this year.
She has pending drug-related charges from incidents on May 29, 2025, and August 31, 2025. The investigation remains ongoing with the Talbot County Sheriff's Office.
