Easton Woman Charged in Giant Foods Theft Case
Easton, MD - The Easton Police Department has charged a local woman in connection with a theft at Giant Foods that occurred in September.
Tahya S. Jones, 39, of Easton, Maryland, was served a criminal summons on November 3, 2025. She faces charges of Theft: $100 to Under $1500 and Conspiracy: Theft $100 to Under $1500. Jones was released after signing the criminal summons.
The charges stem from an incident that took place on September 25, 2025, at the Giant Foods location on 8223 Elliott Road in Easton, Maryland. Police investigators determined that Jones and another individual stole meat products from the store's meat department. The stolen items were valued at approximately $170.
Officers from the Easton Police Department conducted the investigation following the reported theft.
