Easton Woman Charged with Drug Possession Following Traffic Stop

Talbot County, MD - Deputies from the Talbot County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on West Street near Bay Street on December 18, 2025. The vehicle was initially stopped for a moving violation.

A K-9 team assisted at the scene, which led to the development of probable cause. A subsequent search resulted in the discovery of a controlled substance on a passenger in the vehicle.

The passenger was identified as Alexandra Saulsbury, 45, of Easton, Maryland.

Saulsbury was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a controlled substance. She was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing.

Following an initial appearance before a District Court Commissioner, Saulsbury was released on personal recognizance.
