Easton Woman Charged with Harassment Following Parking Lot Confrontation

EASTON, MD - Officers from the Easton Police Department have charged a local woman with harassment following an alleged confrontation at a grocery store parking lot.
Janelle Stancil, 47, of Easton, Maryland, was served with a criminal summons on August 25, 2025. The charges include two counts of harassment stemming from an incident that occurred four days earlier.
According to police reports, the charges relate to an alleged confrontation on August 21, 2025, in the parking lot of Harris Teeter. A woman has accused Stancil of confronting her and inciting a fight during the incident.
The case remains under investigation by the Easton Police Department. No additional details regarding the circumstances of the alleged confrontation have been released at this time.
