Easton Woman Charged with Violation of Protective Order

Easton, MD - On January 12, 2026, officers from the Easton Police Department served a criminal summons to Candy M. Chadwick, 49, of Easton, Maryland. The summons charges Chadwick with the Violation of a Protective Order.

The charge originates from a complaint filed on December 26, 2025. Officers responded to the police department lobby regarding a reported violation. The complainant detailed an encounter with Chadwick that took place in traffic on westbound Route 50 near Goldsborough Street.

According to the report, Chadwick allegedly made an obscene gesture toward the complainant. The complainant further alleged that Chadwick later stood near their vehicle in a nearby parking lot while yelling and gesturing.

These actions were reported as an attempted contact in violation of a standing court order. A criminal summons was issued following an investigation into the matter.
